We hiked half way to the peak and caught this astonishing view of the mountains rolled up in the clouds. YES, it was a cloudy day and temperature was perfect for hiking (70F, it’s very rare for summer in TEXAS).
If you decide to check this national park out, make sure to bring documents to prove your immigration status in US. Even though it’s 30 miles deep in Texas from the border, there are checkpoints still.
